Choices Change Lives!

God gives us complete freedom to make our own choices. If we do not make those choices from His perspective, we need to understand that we are working out of our own selfish nature! It is at this point when possible unfixable, hurtful, and painful events can happen! Events of this type can change the course of our lives forever! Why? Because, we have chosen to do it our way and in so doing we have taken the situation/circumstance out of God’s hands.

A.W. Tozer said, “Our choices reveal what kind of person we are, but there is another side to the coin. We may, by our choices, also determine what kind of person we will become. The important thing, about man is not where he goes when he is compelled to go, but where he goes when he is free to go where he will.”

When you make a wrong choice in your life, how you look at and how you react and deal with it is an indicator of where you are with God . . .!

Mistake: “I could have done this differently, but with God’s help I will allow Him to use this to make me a better person and show me how to never do it again.”

Regret: “D____ it! I wish I had not done that! Now it cannot be fixed! I have ruined my life.”
