First, let’s start with Grace. Grace is like a strand of pearls, and Jesus is the clasp. Each pearl represents a fact, a finished work of JESUS. The sum total of these facts [pearls] represents “The Finished Work”. Meaning, everything has already been accomplished by God for the world.  Since everything is done, it is called a Fact. Because it is a fact, man has no need to work again for its accomplishment since the work of God is complete and perfect.

However, there is something man must do.  Some call it ‘appropriation’.  Let’s bring it down to ‘where the rubber meets the road’ in clear language. There needs to be ‘co-operation’. It isn’t that you can add to what has been done, because who can add to “the finished work” of JESUS?  Co-operation is acknowledging that what Jesus has done is true!  How do you do that?  By Faith.  This means to confess that all that I have said is true. Faith is accepting the fact and taking it as factual.

Now, to do this, you must know how yourself. Let’s look at your strand of pearls. Have you been redeemed?  Yes.  Have you been forgiven?  Yes.  Are you righteous? Yes. Do you have eternal life?  Yes. Are you healed?  Yes. Has all this been accomplished on earth as in heaven for you? Yes.  It is a fact!

The “facts” of “the finished work” are in the bank vault. They [the facts] are like money in the bank. It is a “finished work”. Now your “co-operation” comes in to play.  Then by ‘Faith’, accept that the ‘facts’ are true and factual. Remember, “Faith” is “Drawing”, and the spending of the money [facts] is “experience” or “favor”.

To use God’s Grace, experientially, you must exercise (co-operate) Faith to draw upon the Fact accomplished by God. Fact is what God has done.  Faith is what man must have. FACT BELONGS TO GOD whereas experience or favor belongs to man. Faith translates God’s fact into man’s experience.
