JUDAS!

People’s heart intentions are not always obvious. Take Judas for instance. He appeared to people even his fellow disciples to be a very godly man. He appeared to everyone to be right on with God because he was one of Jesus followers. However, there was a great deal of evil in his heart! The people around him did not get it - but Jesus did!

Even when he made remarks about the perfume being poured on Jesus’ feet – the people around him did not get it. But, Jesus did!

^“One of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, “Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages.” He did not say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief; as keeper of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was put into it.”
