God wants our total obedience!  What does that mean?  It means that we have been “…bought with a price and we are not our own.  Therefore, glorify God in our bodies…”  

We are His servants which means that before we do anything at all we need to ask God, “What would you have me do?   How do you want me to handle this?”  Too many times and too much of our lives are spent doing what we feel that we are supposed to do and then we ask God to bless it!  That is not God’s way of doing things!  He wants us to ask Him everything – when we eat, what we should wear, how should we plan our day, who should we talk to and speak with and where should we go and etc.!

The only way to do this is to keep focused on God!  How do we do that?  We keep our minds focused on Him rather than on circumstances!  We trust Him to work His perfect will.  We do all the warfare He directs us to do.  We ask Him how we should pray in every situation.  We pray protection around our words and be careful about the words we speak - every word is a prayer – whether it is a blessing or a curse!  

Being focused on God means total attention to Him!  Asking Him every move we should take – without interference!
