Regarding Listening

Step One!

IF we want to talk with God - we must learn to BE STILL!
“Pause a while and “know that I AM God.” Psalm 46:10 (The Jerusalem Bible)
"Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
“Stop your striving and recognize that I AM God.” (Psalm 46:10 a New Translation from the Hebrew into Current English)
Definition of listening: Listening is . . . one hundred percent obedience, which includes your mind!
IF you have not gotten the idea to obey God in your mind (thought life) 100% - You cannot obey God in your Actions 100%! There must be agreement within your body and your mind so that each facet of you will work together! IF you want to hear God – you must want to obey Him!
It is 100% obedience, not just obedience to the Word of God. It is not just obedience to what you already know God wants you to do. But it is obedience … in how you do it, and in how you think it, and in everything! It must be 100% - it must be your best! We must give God 100% OF OURSELVES IN OUR MIND - IN OUR HEART - IN OUR ACTIONS, AND IN THE WAY WE TREAT PEOPLE - IN EVERYTHING!
Our goal should be 100% obedience! That is the only way!
