“I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance. There are individuals who will read or hear the following information and they will get offended. This is because they so want God and Jesus to be who they want them to be - rather than who they really are.The bottom line is this: if they know who God and Jesus really are suddenly, they will be responsible to walk like Jesus did. They will be accountable! This accountability will require change on their part! The truth is their heart attitude will be revealed.

Many, many people love movies and books about demonic spirits, magic, black magic, etc. For example, the Twilight series and Harry Potter have been excessively big at the box office.People of all ages purchase books about Satan (the devil). At the time of this writing television has a show entitled The Walking Dead. Not long ago there was a show entitled Lucifer! I think you get my point!

There are many individuals who really go for this type of entertainment! Disney & Walt Disney Studios have set apart sections of their parks dedicated to Harry Potter, Halloween Horror Night etc. Many individuals get so into these movies and books they begin to research even more information regarding the supernatural. So, what is my point? This!

The Supernatural God of creation gets cast aside for this evil! People think it is cool and exciting! Parents buy their children the books and take their children to see the movies. The books and movies show humans fighting demonic spirits and winning the fight! Most people believe this is make believe because they do not believe there is a devil named Lucifer! He is real and he is terribly busy tearing people’s lives apart! (John 10:10) As far as a human fighting a demonic spirit without God on their side is ludicrous! Why? There is no way that can happen! The Natural (man) cannot fight the supernatural realm (Satan & Demons without the supernatural God - there is no way! We humans are no match for any demonic spirit without the Supernatural God on our side - and working through us!

Satan is real and that is a FACT! Catholic Priest, Father George Rutler speaking in a program called Faith and Doubt filmed at Ground Zero in 2002 stated the following: “For those who accept Christ as their Savior; they have to recognize the fact that our Lord spoke very vividly and intimately about the evil, of Satan. He (God) does not talk in abstract terms about evil. He addresses Satan as a person! When He confronts the man possessed with evil; He says. ‘Come out of him’. He is speaking to something other than the man!”

Whether you believe there is a Satan or not - he does exist! Whether you believe there is a God or not – He does exist!

Just as you and I were created by God so was Satan! Satan was an angel. In fact, he was the most beautiful of all the angels God created!

From the New Defenders Study Bible Notes: Re: Isaiah 14:13 – Although Lucifer (Satan) had a throne as God’s ‘anointed cherub” (see Ezekiel 28:14), he aspired to reign over all God’s holy angels, all of whom have been created to serve God and to become ministers to those who would be heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14).

Isaiah 14:14 tells us Lucifer (Satan) declared, “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Lucifer wanted to be like God, and this was also the sin of Adam and Eve, for Satan promised them they would be like “gods”. (Genesis 3:5)

The Bible states in Proverbs 16:8 that, “pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall”. Lucifer was thrown from Heaven along with the angels who decided to follow him! In Luke 10:18 - Jesus declared: “I saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven.”

“How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn, you have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assemble, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like he Most High”. Isaiah 14:12-14 (NIV)

Satan believes there is a God and so do his demons (fallen angels)! They believe in God so deeply – they shudder! However, they are not going to Heaven!

“You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder.” James 2:19 (NRSV)

One Sunday afternoon after presenting the teaching for the day a young man came up to me asking this question: “Sue”, he said, “where did God come from?” I stopped and listened to God and then I said to him: “Would you mind waiting for me to get with God in order to answer you the way God wants me to?” He said, “That would be fine.”

After getting with God the following information is what was given to me: “People need to understand there is no need to know about the creation process, and they don’t need to know about where I came from, nor do they need to understand it. All they need to know is I AM!” Then God asked me, “Sue, if they knew those things, would that put them on the same level as I AM?” Then, God said something very startling to me. “This is the problem Lucifer had!”

•People wanting to know where God came from.
•People wanting to know and trying to understand time and space!
•People wanting to know and understand how God created the world!
•People wanting to know when the Rapture is going to happen.

“How can anyone on the earth with a finite mind understand that God created man from dirt? Keep in mind He spoke the dirt into existence also!”

“How could they ever understand or comprehend that after causing Adam to sleep, God performed the first operation on Adam – and took a bone from his body, and formed women from it?”

God spoke through His son “The Word” and created (formed) all beasts of the fields and all the birds of the air from out of the ground! How can man/women understand where God came from? He did not come from anywhere! He always was! He is a Supernatural God and His name is I AM that I AM! The entire process of creation was supernatural!

How can a natural mind understand the supernatural? They cannot!We cannot even understand the natural most of the time. If God had wanted man to understand all about the ins and outs of the creation while on the earth, He would have told US. Hegave us what we needed to know. God simply want us to believe Him, trust him and obey Him!

Man tries to figure things out, and while in the process of doing so he tries to rationalize his reasons for doing so. In fact, some people make a career out of attempting to figure it all out while calling it - their calling!

ONCE AGAIN IF man understood where God came from, would that make him like God? YES! By knowing this would man be on the same level as God. Of course, it would! Therefore, of what consequence is it to man’s salvation, to know where God came from? How can we understand God’s infinite mind, with our finite minds?

We cannot understand these things while on this earth! Does it really matter? This was part of Lucifer’s problem! He wanted to be like God. He wanted to think like God. He wanted to be in charge like God. He wanted to be God! He wanted to sit on God’s Throne!

No wonder God woke me up that morning asking me the question, “Would that put them on the same level as I AM?” This is not what we are here for!Why would God want someone to concern his or herself with something that was eventually going to die and be destroyed? “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will certainly not pass away (perish).” Luke 21:33 (CJB)

Why should we concern ourselves with something that Jesus Himself said He was not a part of? “. . . I am not of this world.” John 8:23e(CJB)

Definition from: Strong’s Concordance #2889 (world) means: harmonious arrangement earth, men, race, the heavenly hosts as the ornaments of the heavens. The definition even goes on to say, “the whole circle of earthly goods, endowments, riches, advantages, pleasures, etc., which although hollow and frail and fleeting, stir desire, they seduce from God and are obstacles to the cause of Christ.” It goes on to say, the world is an whole mass of men alienated from God, and therefore hostile to the cause of Christ.”

Why would God want our focus on things of this world? He would not! God said in His written Word, “we are to be in this world, but not of it!”

Why would the Almighty God want man to be so focused on this universe considering the one who is the prince of it? “. . . The prince of this world will be driven out. ”John 12: b (NIV)

“. . . and the whole world is under the control of the evil one.” 1 John 5:19b (NIV)

“. . . and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.” Ephesians 2:2b (NIV)

“. . . while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” John 12:25b (NIV)

From God’s perspective this is, “sowing to the wind”! It matters not to the Kingdom of God! It is a waste of God’s time by individuals on this earth who are caught up in trying to figure out where God came from?

The larger portion of people on this earth, do not know how to live a godly life. The man Jesus set the example for us, and nowhere in the written Word does it tells us to try and understand where God came from, or how God created the world. God spoke the world intobeing through the Lord Jesus Christ! God even spoke into being whatever components He needed to create – everything!

God is a Supernatural God! He always was! He always will be! He is God and it is all Super-Natural!

We have work to do on this earth! – Jesus said to His parents when they could not find him: “Why did you have to look for me? Didn’t you know that I had to be concerning myself with my Father’s affairs?” Luke 2:49 (CJB)

God’s affairs of creation were settled and taken care of a long, long time ago. And, understanding creation will not in any way bring us closer to God. Understanding where God came from will not help us to know God, nor help us get close to Him.

Learning to hear his voice, and the building of a relationship with Him, and spending time with Him will bring us closer to Him. Are we not aware that God is amazing and of the highest intelligence that ever was! He is SUPERNATURAL!

Man - is finite – Having definite or defined limits!

God - is infinite – Extending indefinitely – Endless – Inexhaustible!

Understanding the process of creation will not allow us to walk in our Salvation. Understanding the process of creation will not help us help people, nor will it help us walk in our calling. People will understand all about creation when they make it through the pearly gates. To try and rush that process WHICH God has laid out is to get ahead of God! We cannot think like God! We cannot understand things like God. And there are some things if we knew them while on this earth; they would “blow” our minds, literally!We are finite! He is infinite! To attempt to understand certain things of God, and to try to find out how it all worked, is to display a portion of the character and nature of the evil one who said: “. . . I will make myself like the Most High.” Isaiah 14:14b (CJB)

In the Strong’s Concordance the word like is #1819 in the Hebrew meaning: to be like, resemble, to liken, compare, to imagine, and think! We cannot think like God, we can only understand what He is willing to share with us. To think otherwise is to push the envelope!

There are things that we do not need to know! Quite often those things can be a stumbling block to us and to others. From God’s perspective issues like, creation, where God came from, whether we evolved from monkeys, and when the Rapture is going to happen; are all things that we are not supposed to be concerning ourselves with. They are of no consequence in the scheme of things! We will understand when we get to Heaven, and then and only then should we be concerning ourselves with how these things cameabout! God said, it is a waste of time – when we are told to be about the Father’s business this includes following His direction and spending time with Him in order that we grow closer to Him!

Allow me to clear something up about the Rapture: My precious Daddy use to say quite often: “Stop worrying about the Rapture! Just be truly ready to go at any time! Because you could die before that happens – and that will be YOUR RAPTURE!”

What else do we need to know then this fact: “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.”John 3:8 (NIV)

“. . . seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33 (NIV)

God is . . .

A.W. Tozer said: “God is not part way anything He is perfectly so! There is never a time when God is not! Because what God is – He is perfect! God never changes! What God was - God is! God cannot be indifferent! People are indifferent but – not God!

God either loves with boundless unremitting energy or He hates with consuming fire! The goodness of God requires that!”
